Mechanical Fitter Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Year Engineering Mechanical Apprentice to join our host employer who is one of the worldwide market leaders in the design of highly dynamic warehouse systems.
Based in Redbank, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a Nationally Recognised Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical).

What will you be doing?

Supporting the Maintenance Manager, the Electro Mechanical Technician Apprentice is responsible for the planned, preventative and unplanned maintenance of highly advanced material handling systems. your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the production team with through basic fault finding and trouble shooting.
  • Working with the production team to investigate and resolve system material flow issues.
  • Installation of new or refurbished system components.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who is Mechanically Minded
  • Safety-First Mindset and the ability to work at heights up to 30 meters.
  • Willing and able to work rotating shift work (including evenings, nights and weekends)
  • White Card (desirable)
  • Drivers License and Own Transport
  • Eligibility criteria applies for this program in relation to work rights, prior qualifications and full vaccination against Covid-19 and flu vaccination requirements.
