Apprenticeships Queensland is excited to offer an opportunity for a Carpentry Apprentice to join one of our esteemed host employers.
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will:
- Perform tasks related to building, construction, and joinery under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson.
- Use carpentry tools and equipment.
- Conduct general demolition of minor building structures.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings for carpentry work.
- Apply Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry.
Essential Criteria:
- Must have a car and a valid minimum p1 driver's license.
- A genuine interest in the carpentry trade.
- A safe and confident approach to work.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Possession of a White Card (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
- Minimum completion of Year 10 schooling.
